Self Awareness

Self awareness is your first step towards understanding yourself and why you do the things you do, feel the things you feel and behave the way you do.

Being self aware provides you with opportunities to better understand yourself and to make the changes you need in order to create the life you want.

Without self-awareness, self acceptance and change are impossible. Self awareness provides clarity for who you are, and empowers you to make conscious choices to create the you that you desire.

It is possible to be tied down to our internal dramas and negative beliefs and not even know that these things are driving our actions, our re-actions and our beliefs about ourselves. Not being self aware is like allowing someone else to make all our decisions for us.

It's time to become your own expert.

A Life Coach can help you to be aware of your thought processes and to discover the untapped you. Perhaps all you need to solve your own riddles is a timely question.

The ability to take a good look at ourselves and to assess what is working for us and what isn't, has a flow on effect by establishing the motivation to make choices.

The choice to break a bad habit, for example, arises from an awareness of the detrimental effect that habit is having on our life. Our motivation to change that habit arises from the recognition that we won't be able to make positive changes if we don't leave those bad habits dead in the water.

Self awareness enables us to monitor our negativities and to ensure that we can make the choice to be hard on those bad habits rather than be hard on ourselves.

As we learn self awareness, we develop the ability to be aware of ourselves in the present. We awaken ourselves to our gut feelings and learn to make decisions based on what feels right for us, in the moment.

Instead of being bogged down with past issues, we learn to enjoy the pleasures of here and now, and to keep up with life as it happens. When bad things happen, we are mentally and emotionally prepared to cope when we are self aware.
